Siargao International Marathon

Race Date: July 13, 2019

About the race

Our aim is to help position Siargao as one of the top sports tourism destination in the Philippines, banking on its various tourist attractions and the passion of Filipinos for sports particularly running.

This destination run will happen on July 13, Saturday at Del Carmen, Surigao Del Norte. We are expecting about 1,000+ runners traversing the stretch of the National Hi-way of Siargao Island. Upon finishing, runners will be treated to an after-party celebration (“Marajaw Siargao”) with performances from top local and Manila DJ’s.

Last 2017, the advocacy run was elevated to become the “Siargao International Marathon: Run for Mangrove” where participating runners came from all over the world with support of celebrity running coach and race organizer, Coach Rio de la Cruz and RUNRIO Events Inc.
